Jon is a graduate of the National Film and Television School where he specialised in Cinematography. Prior to this Jon studied Lighting Design at Croydon College of Art.

Designs for theatre include: Whistling Psyche (Almeida); When Harry Met Sally (Theatre Royal Haymarket); Dance of Death (Lyric Theatre and Theatre Royal Sydney); Jerry Springer– The Opera, Our House (Cambridge Theatre); Midnight’s Children (Royal Shakespeare Company); Up For Grabs (Wyndham’s Theatre); Life After George (Duchess Theatre); Darwin in Malibu (Hampstead); The Country Wife and Mother Goose (Watford Palace); Eurydice (Whitehall Theatre); God and Stephen Hawking (UK Tour); Terminatrix (National Theatre Studio); Lady into Fox (Gloria / Lyric Hammersmith / Sheffield Crucible) and Godspell (UK tour).

Opera: Genoveva (Opera North); The Ha’Penny Bridge (Cork Opera House); Zoe (Glyndebourne); Orfeo (Kent Opera).
